Dayglow Lights Up the Stage

During a time of uncertainty, Dayglow lit up the world for everyone in attendance. At the House of Blues in San Diego, Dayglow rocked out to a sold out show. The vibes the band brought energized the entire venue was and kept the crowd hyped for the entirety of their set. Going to a show is something that rarely anyone had the privilege of having in over a year and a half. Seeing Dayglow perform live made it almost worth the wait.

The neon sign at the back of the stage that shined DAYGLOW really increased the atmosphere in the room. The array of colors that lit up with different colors for each song was really a spectacle to behold. The beams of light that synchronized with the rhythm of each song really made each one feel special and was just a pleasant sight to see. The Harmony House Tour made the venue feel like a place full of vibrance and of course, great jams.

A few standout tracks from their latest album, Harmony House, such as “Crying on the Dancefloor”, “Close to You”, and “Medicine”, were amazing to listen to live. Even on stage, you can tell the band really synergized with each other and were in sync. The chemistry within the band is just phenomenal and they keep it fun with rifting with each other during breaks in between songs. The band closed out the show with an encore which consisted of a cover of Tears for Fears “Everybody Wants to Rule the World” which they then transitioned into “Run the World!!!”, an upbeat tune from their debut album Fuzzybrain.

Safe to say, a Dayglow concert is a must-see event if they roll through your town. The show really matched the name of the tour and album. This show was a warm, wholesome experience that made people deeply needed after live performances being put on hiatus for so long. The band has a bright future ahead of them and I can see their live set turning up another gear when they come back to town.
